Hurriyet siar gambar tentera Israel kena serang

ANKARA: Sebuah akhbar yang laris di Turki, Hurriyet, menyiarkan beberapa gambar komando Israel yang cedera akibat diserang aktivis kapal Mavi Marmara dalam operasi berdarah Isnin lalu.
Menurut akhbar itu, gambar berkenaan diambil daripada sebuah kad memori kosong diperoleh aktivis Yayasan Bantuan Kemanusiaan (IHH).
Hurriyet mendakwa tentera Israel merampas kamera aktivis terbabit dan memadam kandungannya.
Satu daripada gambar itu – disiarkan di muka depan Hurriyet – memaparkan seorang tentera menekap belakang kepalanya, manakala wajahnya dibasahi darah.
Gambar ketiga menunjukkan seorang lagi tentera terbaring di dek kapal sambil tangannya dipegang aktivis, manakala seluarnya berdarah.
Imej lain adalah dua aktivis bersenjata batang besi berlindung di belakang pintu.
Bagaimanapun, aktivis IHH berkata, mereka bertindak begitu untuk mempertahankan diri daripada diserang tentera.
Veteran Perang Teluk warga Amerika Syarikat, Kenneth Nichols O’Keefe, mengaku dia merampas senjata komando Israel di dalam kapal itu, tetapi tidak menggunakannya, malah mengosongkan peluru dan membuangnya. – AFP
